The European approach to field operational testing was developed in 2008 in the FESTA project. The project has produced a comprehensive manual which guides you through all the steps you need to take when implementing a Field Operational Test: the FESTA Handbook. This is the approach being applied in euroFOT. |
In order to learn about and apply this methodology on field testings, National, European and international Field Operational Test organisers are now gathered in one strategic networking platform: FOT-Net. FOT-Net is the point of reference for anyone interested in Field Operational Tests, their organisation their set up and their results. FOT-Net is open to all stakeholders from public and private sectors willing to exchange experiences and benefit from each others’ learning experiences
For more information about field operational tests in general, the FOT-net project is developing an inventory of FOTs across Europe and beyond.
