Final EventeuroFOT has brought together a comprehensive array of organisations to test intelligent vehicle systems across Europe. Car manufacturers, suppliers, universities, research institutes and others stakeholders – in all 28 organisations are involved. The aim: to make road transport safer, more efficient and more pleasant!
Now, after one year of field testing 8 distinct functions assisting 1200 everyday drivers on European roads across France, Germany, Italy and Sweden in detecting hazards, preventing accidents and making driving more efficient, using a multitude of sensors and devices monitoring every aspect of individual driver behaviour in real-world traffic conditions, the euroFOT consortium has presented its results to 250 participants on the occasion of its Final Event.
